Here's a collection of photographs I like; along a similar theme, but in no way definitive of said theme. I mean, there's no Kent State here, for example. Enjoy.
PATTERN POWER / Superstripe
I was pleased to worm my way, utterly uninvited, to a sceening of short films at the PATTERN POWER / Superstripe event for Patternity, on Redchurch st. Deeply groovy and everything. They had a bar, that only served black or white drinks, and a photo booth which was quite abused by myself and Chris of Dead Canary Comics fame. He's also a producer & location Manager on one of the films from the event: Humbug, for Mind's Eye Media. Hence how he smuggled in both me, and his (other) pet art monkey Charlie Hodgeson.
White Wedding
I'm now on page 38 of converting my insane comic script to actual panels- The first step to drawing up roughs. It'll be about 200 pages long.
At the same time I'm starting a new project based on a film, many props to the mighty Paul Duffield for that one. I'm also possibly starting a single issue of a small press series. It'll be a relief not to be arguing with vast Graphic novels for once.
Finally, I'm experimenting with making big, overlayed, blurry messes. One of which you can see above. While looking at it you should really listen to this remix of Billy Idol's "White Wedding" by Israeli remix master Virgin Magnetic Material. It's my current theme tune for the Liquid CIty.
